BARR. HAKEEM OLAWALE, ASIRU DELARED THE WINNER OF THE ZONE 3 SHADOW ELECTION

In build-up for the upcoming Local Government elections, all 3 political zones of Remo North Local Government had their Zonal meeting where each Zonal delegates voted for the aspirants of their choice. Yesterday Saturday 24th August, 2024, Zone 3, which comprises of two political wards ( Ipara Remo ward 7 and Orile Oko ward 8), had their Zonal election held at Ipara Remo ward 7 APC Secretariat. Each of the two wards had 4 delegates, each out of the expected 5 delegates from each wards which made the total valid votes to be eight (8). The following are the invited zone 3 aspirants who had earlier sent their LETTER OF INTENTION to their respective ward Chairmen and detail of the votes casted for each of the Aspirants. 1.⁠ ⁠Barr. Hakeem Olawale Asiru - Four [4] Votes 2.⁠ ⁠Hon. Yusuf Soyemi. - Two [2] Votes. 3.⁠ ⁠Hon. Aliu Shittu - Two [2] Votes. It's was gathered that all four (4) delegates from Orile Oko (ward 8) unanimously casted their votes for BARR. HAKEEM OLAWALE ASIRU, while their counterpart in Ipara (ward 7) shared their votes for HON. YUSUF SOYEMI & HON. ALIU SHITTU. Barr. Hakeem Olawale Asiru, having fulfilled all the zone 3 requirements to stand for the election, was declared the winner of the Zone 3 primary shadow election.
